i couldnt afford it i doubt i could  ever get one  i have no credit. I would  need a few big trucks too

It needs a grapple on the back so it could skid wood when it gets ahead of its self.  :D
Third generation logger, owner operator, 30 yrs felling experience with pole skidder. I got my neck broke back in 89, left me a quad. The wife kept the job going up to 96.

Your just a young fellow Treefarmer 87 keep working at it and things will come togather. Just think if you had one of then new Prentice you might get out of shape, chainsaws will let you eat all the candy and pizzas you can handle  ;D

yes that cutter would make me lazy :D. i agree with you snowstorm, i need it. i think i am going to apply for a credit card, and buy something, and pay it back. gotta start somewhere. i am going to have to look for another skidder, a man is coming to get the one tommorrow that i was buying :( i think i am going to find a small-medium grapple skidder, like a 548 or franklin 170

dont know the guy. a articel in the northern logger about 2 kids still in high school buying a skidder buncher chipper crane and how walter was a great help. took care of all there financeing. and the guy that hauled wood  they didnt see him for there first year seems they were in school

I just got a letter from Walter Purda at Maine Financial Group saying he was retiring. He will be missed as he was a great help to a lot of loggers over the years.

Walter will be still be working part time i thought/
