Wouldn't mind at all. However I traded the Jr. back to EZ boardwalk with 4.5hrs on the hr. meter. After I got it home and got started, the neighbors started bringing me longer and bigger logs. Instead of buying an extension, I traded it back in for the 40 size. I will look around and see if I have any pics of the leveling feet. There is an hr. meter that can be added to that motor very easilly. It it kinda nice to keep an eye on maintanence schedules.

You might try turning the axle 180 degress and let the flex part of the axle go to the back and the solid part of leave spring to the front.
Agreed, looks like your axle is installed backwards. The solid pivot is usually toward the front.

About the swaying issue. What has been said is true. Trailer axle helps to be to the rear as much as possible taking overall length into consideration. Put the saw head up as close to the front as you can to put as much weight as your truck hitch can handle. Some trial runs will help you learn where to place the head to stop the swaying. Also with all the weight of your planer and stuff out of the bed will make difference. Good luck. bg

  • You can't always have a tailwind, sometimes it's going to be a headwind.

The drive home was a little scary, the sawmill was swerving quite a bit any time we went over a hill or bump.  Any suggestions to minimize that?

You might check the toe-in. Should be 1/16" to 1/8".

There is no need to say 'unleaded regular gas'. It's all unleaded. Just say 'regular gas'. It's not the 70s anymore. (At least that's what my wife tells me.)

Trailer ball height will also effect sway.

Could also be that the pickup was over loaded and that it was swaying . scouter Joe

You guys are correct. The spring hangers are supposed to be at the rear of the spring. It was mentioned of toe in. It may have toe in already built into it and being turned 180 degrees out could mean for a trailer that wants to sway. The manufacture could tell you if it has toe in built in already or check it yourself. bg
