I don't know what hotmail does with it, but I know the server is sending it or I would be getting bounce backs in the log. Of mine was in the junk, I'd be certain they decided to do something different with the other as well.  Do they have a way you can whitelist an email address?

Hotmail is sending everything from the forum to my junk, not only that it's taken close to a day to get it.
Yahoo is working perfectly, not too sure about gmail as I just change my addy.
BTW Jeff I pm you, did you get it?

With hotmail, if you sign in to hotmail on the web, go to your junk folder, find the message being tagged as junk, open it, and select "this is not junk" at the top of the page.

You may have to do several messages that way, depending on the email address they are originating from, but they will start getting delivered to your in box.

The forum emails that may need to be added to the addressbook or white list would be

trees at forestryforum.com
admins at forestryforum.com
and
noreply at forestryforum.com

You can also select "wait, this is safe" from the open message and a box will ask you if you want to add the email address to your allowed list.

I'm not too worried about it, last night I added the Forestry Forum to the "contacts list" on hotmail after your pm showed up, I'm not sure if that's what you mean by the white list or not.  With this computer, and me sitting in front of it who knows  ;).  I'll ask my wife when she gets home tonight, you'd like her a lot more than ignorant old me!  :D

I've had some tweaks done to the forum mail server, so perhaps anyone that tried to register, and never got an email, can try again and see if you succeed.

It accepted me and said this:
you should receive an e-mail to (----my-----@---email---dare-) in a few minutes. It will contain your password needed to post or bid. You may change your password once you receive it. If you do not get an e-mail, please re-register.

Dat was about 5 minutes ago. ;D

I'm going to send you an email to see if you get that. I think Bellsouth is deleting your email.

Alright, who the heck are "Willow" and "Sawmill" over on the auction site??!!

They kicked my behind on this auction :D  Darn, I had a spot in the shop already designated for the tapestry too.  If I did not have an off-site meeting this morning at a location w/o cell coverage, I could have hung in there until the end.

Harumph.....  :(

Just under an hour left.  If I recall correctly, that auction software has an anti "sniping" function. If a bid is placed inside of 5 minutes left the auction is extended another 5 minutes from the last bid.

I just went in and found the code to make sure.

Code: [Select]
# Sniper Protection...  How many minutes
# past last bid to hold auction.  If auctions
# should close at exactly closing time, set
# to zero.

$config{'aftermin'} = 5;
