Is the Pine beetle active there?
Just about everyplace I go out west the Lodgepole is decimated.
It is making chasing Elk harder and harder.
You may have plenty of pine to saw if this is the case.

Was out there in October and did not notice any dead pines on the property . Lots of pines on it and lots of aspen. Hope the beetles don't get them just yet need to get located out there first so I can take care of the ones that die.

I would be there is some spruce and fir on there as well. They will all make good lumber.
