Congratulations Russ. If'n the Russ is short for Rusty after winning the Reaper you may have to change it to Slick.  Hey, that could be the beginning of a good commerical.  Reaper works so good I had to change my name.  :o Think it would sell? ???

 I don't read the chainsaw forum very often. Might learn something ;D

 I'm sure that Russ deserves the Award. So far, there have been wise choices for the award ::) :D :D

 I gotta report that I have been soakin a planer for over 1 week, and, the threaded table adjustment rods STILL won't turn ::) ::) ::)  Mike, does this stuff burn???  Can I heat the casting some and then put RR on the parts, without goin into orbit???

Thanks for all the nice things that you guys have said about me! I`m not so sure that those kind words are warranted but, hey I`m not complaining!

It`s also very nice to be the lucky recipient of the Rust Reaper poster award. Sounds pretty cool and it looks like a good product for anyone to have on hand.

Congratulations, Russ!  We'll ship your Rust Reaper tomorrow (02-09).  We're proud of the product.  Please let us know how it works for you.  It sounds as if Rust Reaper may have some chainsaw applications.

Fla._Deadheader.  You can use Rust Reaper with heat.  I used a torch and Rust Reaper to loosen the track adjustment bolts on an old International Harvester TD-6 that we have.  They had not moved in at least 20 years and the combination of rust and dirt would have required a lot of time and soaking for Rust Reaper to loosen the bolt and jam nut without help.  Once loose, I was able to clean up the parts with RR and reassemble the adjusting mechanism and tracks.

Applying Rust Reaper directly to the hot part did not result in any flames, but, as a matter of good practice, you want to be careful about not inhaling the fumes.  

Quite often adjusting turnbuckles are a fine thread and that complicates the path that the lubricant must follow in order to cover enough area to loosen the parts.

Captain, thanks for your input on the chainsaw recoil (Rust Reaper use 100001).

Shopteacher, perhaps those sayings could be worked into a "Burma Shave" format?

Russ, my wife says that I should spend more time reading the Chainsaw Forum, maintaining that I have a lot to learn.  I'm not sure if she means about chainsaws or in general ???
