BBQ with Weekend Sawyer
« on: December 21, 2011, 09:27:01 am »
Weekend Sawyer and I met for Ribs last night in Tampa. Kojacks Rib Shack was the venue.
Normal topics like Harley's, Riding, Land, forests, milling, hunting, guns/shooting, Ex Wives, Dang

  and work all were covered.

AS you can see we did not go home hungry!
Kubota L-4200, Chainsaw, Bush Hog, and 85 acres of trees I'm not sure what to do with but I sure do have fun!

Cool!

I always look at my shirt and think how is it I don't starve to death no more than I get down my throat.

DanG,

Looks like those boys have been talking about you  :D.

Good going!

Jon,  I smoked a boston butt, shredded it fine, and sauced it with our signature BBQ sauce.  Man, it is some good  ;D.

It does look like y'all had a lot of fun  :D.

Ya know, when I see a photo like that, first it makes me jealous that I was not there, and second, it makes me feel like the forum is worth the effort.  :)

DanG!  Here it is late December, and I turned the AC on because my ears were burning.  I'm not sure I want to know what was being said.

I don't know if it is a big kudo to the Forestry Forum, or a sad commentary on the rest of my life, but the vast majority of my real friends are right here.  I don't want to concede to the latter, so I'll credit FF. :)

In reviewing the pictures, Bill has more experience with ribs than Weekend Sawyer.  Or, Weekend Sawyers enthusiasm exceeded Bill's. Or, DanG, I'm jealous, haven't had good ribs in a long while.

Well just get your kar-kass over here, TR.  I'll get a pallet of charcoal like Norm has and a whole bunch of beverages, and we'll just sit out there cookin' ribs until we get it right. ;D
