As for the arrow in the right hand corner are you talking about the shrink expand arrow? I've never touched it till just now, it doesn't change anything with the up down buttons on the page.

Well sure it doesn't now, we fixed it.  :)

P1010023.JPG.
You cannot upload that type of file. The only allowed extensions are skp, xlsx, txt, doc, pdf, xls, wks, html, htm, shtml, kmz, eml.
This indicates you did not use the gallery, you used the document uploader. The gallery button is a big blue bar under  the text that says attachments and other options. They are two different things. The error posted is absolutely unique to the document uploader. It gives that error because it is not set up to take photos.

Hagens, please confirm again that you are using the picture uploader and not the document attacher?

Yes Warbird, I'm using the picture loader. I've uploaded many pics to my gallery with no probs till now. I'm doing it the same way I've always done it.
I've tried loading in multi files and single files and still no luck.
It's not like I'm new to this and I do understand the quirks here when it comes to certain pics that just can't be loaded.
It's not the end of the world, I'm sure it will work its way out :)
Oh p.s, as I told Furby I'm using Firefox not IE.

Okay. let me take time to explain this to you.  I am currently working on three different website builds for people. I am also taking care of other website issues for another batch of random clients. I am also taking care of the needs of forum members that send me direct messages via email and instant messages. Then, when i see them, I try to keep up on issues that are posted on the forum, then try and find and execute fixes for those issues.  Sometimes I am thinking about 6 things at once, and my answers may be brief and to the point. I may forget to post a smiley here and there.  I am not upset, but may at times get a bit frazzled.

In Jest, I asked for someone to Thump you for posting that I was upset, when that is not even close to the truth. If you would like to take that as an insult, that is up to you, but it was not. Now, back to the next thing in line. I want to eat yet today, and hope to be in bed before 3 am tomorrow.  :)

Yup I figured it out, it should be something you should know or should know for future references :)
Wifey comes home, loads pics on my computer from her phone, not a big deal right ???
Wifey don't tell me that she loaded pics from her new phone to my computer. The software that the phone needs is loaded on to my computer, wifey don't tell me that ::)
The software that comes from wifey's phone is an Android product. I googled it and Android software can have problems with uploads with different servers.
I delete her stuff and BINGO it all works here again :)
 See I told you it was your fault :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Now let's see if you can figure out why at times it will say there's new posts on a thread and there's nothing! Only happens between 4 and 8 pm my time. Only on the home computers, never on the cells :) :)

I'm not going to even try to figure out people's personal configuration problems. Not my job. But it is probably your ISP caching pages.

I'm glad this is all sorted out....

Jeff, I really just wondered "why" I get that error, not trying to get it fixed  ;)  Just wanted to understand what it was.  I've gotten that message for a long time now but just sporadically, so I finally said to myself "self, you really wanna understand why your getting that message" and now I do.   ;D

Since you asked, one of the photos I was trying to upload with the java uploader was 5.87mb, so certainly a dang large file for a website post.  I now know that I need to resize them down, even when using the java uploader if they're over a certain size.  What's the size it's set at?  I imagine somewhere around 4-5mb or so.

What I am now doing is just resizing the photos to a bit smaller and still using the java uploader, just because I like it.  :D

You're right Jeff, that's what it was :)
Thank you for taking the time to look in to this for me :)
Keep up the good work :) :)
