Holy cow, simmer down you two.
Take a deep breath and let it go.
This forum is too valuable for the bickering
I have had my wrists slapped for some inappropriate posts in the past and have scaled back  my views and moved past it.
Lets get on to meaningful stuff.
Pete.

In my humble opinion

there have been a multitude of great posts here as well as lots of friends

most of the info has been offered and shared in a nice way

but, and here is the big one..........

there has also been a bunch of  C  R  A  ........

and unlike other boards that fell by the wayside because of the cr...- ..p

this one is held intact by  ding ding ding

Jeff

so if you come right out and ding him on the post I do think you have done your own to occupy the forestry forum, and I do think you might be alone on that

I do hate to see this turn into a back and forth which never ends but I have never been one to hold back so I’ll put in my 2 cents.

Legally speaking this forum is jeffs property, and that is how I think of it, if we were in jeffs house talking about our new skidder and someone was being insulting or belittle to anyone in the room I would expect jeff as a good host to show them the door, but even more to the point if someone walked in and insulted jeff to his face I think we would all expect jeff to have a few harsh words for him before he shows him the door.

I don’t think the medium we use changes the way we should behave; just because we are on the internet typing and not looking someone in the face doesn’t change the fact that we should be generally nice and try not to insult anyone… that’s just common etiquette IMO….

I'm locking this topic so it can die a natural death before it spirals any further out of control.

Feel free to start a new topic that actually addresses the original questions posed if you wish.
