For Tom, Does anyone remember the rest of this...
« on: October 25, 2011, 11:18:02 pm »
It was on his profile at one time. Gael would like to know what it is, but I can't remember it exactly. It started something like:

"I'm having to much fun ...."

I can remember seeing it on his profile but can't quite remember how it went. Is it frozen in some of the backups or the archives when the forum was down?

I've been looking.  I can't remember when it was last on there. I didn't know it was gone.

Nope, that is not it.  I'm trying to unzip some old back ups locally. Its hard to do because of the extreme size. I'm not sure my computer can handle such a large text file but I'm trying that route.

Now that sounds right.   "I'm having to much fun to be retired"

I think that is it. Anyone else think so?

"I'm having too much fun to be unhappy."

That is from Dang, and he is quite certain of it, so I am as well.

I've crashed my computer twice now trying to open backup databases locally. They are just to be for me to do it. Opening up all the data from the forum at once is like trying to open a 20 man inflatable life raft in a mini cooper.

I agree.

Are the crash archives now gone completely? I tried the board2 and it says it can't be found.

The crash archives were taken down due to an exploit in the dated software. I don't think that is where we will find it, as that is clear back to 2007

I was able to get the much smaller crash file open, and searched every instance where the words too much  were together, and it does not exist related to Tom's profile in that archive.

Hey! You found that while I was typing.  YEA!  DanG was right. :)   Thank you. :)

 YEA!  DanG was right. :)

But of course! ;D  That sentence was so deeply ingrained in my mind, I didn't even realize it wasn't there anymore.

I was thinking it was, "I'm having too much fun not to be happy".   ....somewhere in there

But I don't think that was all. I think it was "I'm having too much fun to be unhappy, sawing and...." I don't remember the rest. Sorry.

The reason for the information is that they tentatively plan on having it inscribed on Tom's stone.  The avatar that I drew for him so long ago, is planned to be on the memorial cards at tonight's viewing.

Finish up that quote. "I'm having too much fun to be unhappy, Portable Custom Sawmilling".
All truth passes through three stages:
   First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident.
