I'm stunned... :( :( I hadn't been here for a while and first thing I see, very sad to hear this, Tom offered me some advice a few times via this place and there was something about his words that made me want to meet him.....made me think he was a great guy to know... sorry to hear this.

I'm a bit late in this and wasn't going to post, but I wanted to extend my condolences.  I'm very sorry to hear this news.

After I sold my sawmill I´ve not been here for a long time. Came here to show people going to build their own mills the FF, "my university", and this met me.  He was the one here I had most contact at that time.
Now more than ever I´m lackin in language. So sorry.

Just found the bad news. What a kind hearted and smart individual, and his never ending eagerness to help members (a newbe with a mill myself included) here will be missed.

  Everybody that uses the Forestry Forum will miss Tom.  Never met him in person, but was amazed at his common sense, and the way he was able to put it into words.
