The next generation

Sometime you wonder where the next generation of sawyers will come from.  Well,  here is Caleb Hicks,  son of proud father John Hicks by way of wife Chris.

John may become Caleb’s mentor but he already knows how to dress the part from me.  ;)

We visited with John, Chris and Caleb when they did a Wood-Mizer demo in Columbia, Missouri in early November.  My lovely better half, Mary, got to hold Caleb but John would not let me hold him because I had too much sawdust on my cloths so I just got to snap the picture.

Here is John Hicks, Wood-Mizer’s TOP GUN sawyer doing what he does best.  He enjoys going from town to town and even other countries showin’ off Wood-Mizer mills.   8) 8)
