I miss the little dotted lines that used to appear in the Post and Preview buttons which indicated your last action.

Did you recently upgrade Fire Fox to version 4?

This may be the reason.

"The problem will be that the 'outline' styles are set to 'none' or '0' in
the [webpage] stylesheet. New browsers such as Firefox honour this rule and do not
display the outline. Older browsers do not honour the rule so they display
the outline regardless."

Thanks guys.  I'll have to look at it when I get back home from the Cabin.  This stuff is confusing to me.   smiley_dizzy

Well I don't think there is anything you can do. It's in the page coding, FF just adheres to the rules when it says not to draw a dotted outline on a button when in focus.

If I knew exactly where the specified issue lies, I think I could do something, but I'm not sure what or where we are talking about. Can it still be seen with IE?

test post

Yes it does in IE 6, but not Firefox. When posting the Post button shows focus, and when hitting preview it retained focus until you put the cursor in the post window, then post button has focus (dark outline)

In Firefox the  post and preview buttons pop back up and don't keep focus.

I suppose it's beneficial if your tabbing about to the page elements, to see whether Post or Preview has focus. I just click the button I want. ;)

Tom, I know your kidding but just in case. :D

When you use your tab key on the page you see each element get outlined. That indicates the screen focus so if you hit the enter/return key when an element is in focus it's like a left mouse click.

The box my TV came in, said made in USA, on the back of the TV it says assembled in China. How is that economical to RCA?

What versions of the browsers did you test with, SD?  MM, what version of Fire Fox are you using?

FF4 breaks all sorts of stuff I do at work.  I am not surprised it is acting up here, as well.  I don't have much to do with IE6 anymore but am surprised it has issues with this all of a sudden.

FF just follows the rules, while IE breaks a lot of'm from what I've read over the years. I'm no expert web page builder, although I have coded my own website before.

I'm back, now if you can tell me how to check my firefox to see which version I have tell me what to punch.  If it is 4, I wish that I had my 3 back.

Still haven't encountered any major problems with Chrome 11. I actually was trying to switch back to Firefox, but then I realized I was having more trouble with it than I ever did with Chrome.

Assuming you have the Menu toolbar showing: (File Edit...Help)

Click on Help, About Mozilla Firefox. The version is under the name Firefox. (On my 3.6.17)

You can get those dashed lines (called the focus) by pressing the tab key. Or shift-tab to go back.

There is no need to say 'unleaded regular gas'. It's all unleaded. Just say 'regular gas'. It's not the 70s anymore. (At least that's what my wife tells me.)
