The Big 50 caliber ARKY
« on: April 14, 2011, 08:03:24 am »
YEP! when I logged in this morning I had pieces of cake on my post.  So that means I must of made it though another year.  Fifty of them in fact.  It is all down hill now.  They say when a bear chases you that you should run down hill as bears can not run as fast down hill.  So down I go!
The only thing I have seemed to notice is the years seem to be going by faster but turkey and deer season are just so far apart.  It seems like when I had an old jon boat with a kicker motor and I had to bail water to keep the livewell in the floor of the boat from getting to deep, I got more time on the water then now with the nice slick boat I have now in which the floor stays dry.  ???  Somethings that I used to care about are not so important now and I seem to careless about what some people think.  It is just now a truck that starts every time I turn the key and my dog comes when I call are more important then another notch on my gun handle.
So take your best shots as I have to go to work and will not be back on line till after dark.  Just remember I have google earth and the U.S. Army spent alot of money training me to kill people.   ;D

Thecfarm,

I am glad that you did not choose to bash grits on a Southerner's birthday.  That shows real sensitivity  :D.

Arky,

You are a wise man, now.  You also have 50 years of understanding women  ;D.  Happy birthday!

Arky you have a long row to hoe yet. You are still young enough to get a lot done and a lot of things to see and do. Take care of the body so that it can be more fun when you decide to give up sawing and just fish. Have many more birthdays, bg
