Hello!

I know it has been some time but I wanted to update this post.  Basically what happened was that for what ever reason the teeth were out of alignment on the saw and I side dressed them a few to many times to get smooth lumber.  When I switched over to the Red Oak, the saw heated up and dished.  At that point, the only thing I could do was take it to the saw doc.  He used a tool that was basically a piece of 1/2 inch strap steel with a small groove in it to align the shoulders.  The mill is producing lumber again.
It is true the mill is underpowered but I am cutting good consistant lumber by 'creeping' through the wood and adjusting feed when needed.  Even with the oak.
