I'll give it a try.  Went from firefox 3.6 to IE 8.  Maybe back to firefox.

I went from firefox 3.6 to Chrome. I was skeptical, but I like Chrome much, much better. It's faster (imo), and takes up much less viewing space, among other things.

I didn't like Chrome either but in all honesty, I didn't give it much of a chance.  FF is a great browser.  I just wish vendors would have their specific applications/products ready for the newest versions of browser by the time it is released.

It took some time to get used to chrome, but now I like it. Maybe it's because it is a lightweight browser, and I personally prefer that over a heavier one with lots features.

I also haven't tried chrome on a windows machine, so there could be difference. (I'm using Ubuntu 10.04)

Jeff do you notice your navigation buttons all out of arrangement? My "Noscript" is up with it and not down in the status bar. I checked over the preferences, but I don't see where you can fix the navigation bar. Like I have the stop/reload icon in the URL field with the add bookmark icon on the far right in the field and the home icon is over on the far right end by the Google search add-on.

The tabs got moved.  Panic time when I couldn't find them.  If it doesn't work, I can do a System Restore.

Mine got put up top, so under "View/Toolbars" I unchecked "Tabs to Top" If you don't see Tabs, then Tools/Options/Tabs and select "Always show tab bar".

I fixed the nav bar, I had to go into View/Toolbars/Customize and drag and drop the icons. I see an annoying status bar thingy though, that has to go. :D

One of the advantages of Firefox is how customizable it can be.

I thought ya'll were talking about skinning out pigs and rendering fat ::) I thought Foxfire 4 had been out fer years, I wondered why it had came "back up".  ::)
 
 The discussion on "Chrome" gave it away, no mention of chrome in ANY of my Foxfire's.

Its clear to the left, but you can put it anywhere you want.  I moved my home button and the refresh button to the left, just to the right of my back button. I also put my tabs below as I did not like them above the address bar.

To move the buttons location, go to view/toolbars/customize  Remove the button you want to move by dragging in and dropping it in the customization box, then add it back to where you want it by dragging it out of the customization box to the new location.
