Poulan chainsaw
« on: December 20, 2003, 08:39:03 pm »
Does anyone know if there is a place that sells rim and drum sprockets for a Poulan 2375 wildthing chainsaw? I only use this saw for my weekend wood warrior duty, my main saws are McCulloch Pro-Mac 610 and possibly a PM-700 or 850 soon. My poulan runs a standard homeowners saw 3/8lp chain with a 6 tooth spur sprocket from the factory. I want the rim because it causes less chain wear and gives more HP for my saw.

You might try a Jonsered or Husky dealer in your area.  Poulans are made by ElectroLux and are the same as some of the Jonsered saws only a different color.  A dealer should be able to match something up for you.

When I had trouble finding a rim sprocket system for my Stihl 090,  Madsens was the solution.  They provided components that aren't even listed by the Oregon company's material anymore.
