That's got to be one of the best chainsaw-mill videos I've ever watched.  As a matter of fact, it had a lot of educational enuendos, like the good choice of tools, the gate that got closed and, especially, the truck leaving.  :P :)

I liked the piano piece too.  :)

I really enjoyed that video.  Thanks Bibby.

Too wet to move the sawmill to the next job today.  Storm tomorrow, and then too wet to move it Wednesday. I'm trying to at least stay caught up.   :-\

The guy has a whole series of videos showing him building a timberframe house.  I've watched a few today as I've fed the fire.  Pretty well produced for a one-man show and tell.

Well, apparently Oklahoma is not far enough south either. We are expected to get 8 to 12 here in Stillwater. There will be no mulching for a few days, so we will switch gears put the buckets on the skid steers and commence to becoming Eastern Red Cedar Snow Removal company.

C'mon down here! We'll go to the beach, then we can go over to the base and I'll show you the airplanes we work on. We're only supposed to see rain here, maybe 65 degrees and thunderstorms by Wednesday. On the bright side, I don't think the groundhog will see his shadow tomorrow up in PA. :D

We've been Super Sized from "Winter Storm Warning" to "Blizzard Warning".  They've upped the snow prediction from 12-18" to 12-20" and possibly more in some locations.  Wind gust up to 40mph.

Mary should be home soon and we’ll button down for the duration.

Well I sat through the hour long video.  My advice is to set the logs on top of the truck and haul them to a sawmill ;D

Big ice warnings for southern Missouri tonight and "record winter weather" advisory for all day tomorrow.  On call to push for MODOT tonight, and mandatory report at 6pm tomorrow.  But I took the day off work to cut a monster load of white oak, got it all split and stacked up ready for the blizzard.  Hopefully that ice lays off, that can make for nasty travel, as well as really make me frown pulling into work seeing all the stuff laying on the ground. Stay warm everyone, and quit posting the weather reports for Florida.  We dont want to hear that junk ;D ;D

Depending on which forecaster you believe, they are calling for anywhere from 13 to 20 inches in Fort Wayne, with as much as 3/4 inches of ice.

I did get a laugh when I went to the local food store to buy my lottery tickets. People were stocking up big time as if they thought they would never see the sun again. :D

A great big fat High over Quebec is going to keep that trash to the south. Maybe a couple inches for here.  :D :D

RaiderBill nobodys laughing.

5 oclock news just said minimum of twelve to fifteen inches minimum here with up to inch of ice prior to the snow.  Well at least we might be able to go sledding sometime this week.  We havent been able to do that is a couple years.  We were plenty due for a big snow and here she comes.

Bill I would be upset also with temps that high, I would be breaking a sweat  :-\ :D  Looks like we might be avoiding this snow this time around  8)  The forecast now is for 4 inches . That is real easy to deal with.

I feel your pain guys, we are just now getting thawed. The previous 16" melted pretty fast but the last 8" is going off slow. No problem with power outage here, but in adjacent counties they had 1000s out. Hang tight spring is 50 some days away. Our prayers will be with you during what is being called a "historic storm."
