I like google.  The way googlies list people and businesses is cool and for free.  They post your web site in an effort to locate web sites.  I think googlies is better than dogpile.  Your sever I hope survives.  Your post with the bat is cool.

Say,  the other day I went out on the link listed at the top of this thread and got a blizzard of other web pages opened offering me all kinds of stuff. :(  Now I’m getting of junk e-mail.  >:(  Not sure the two are connected.   You guys get this stuff too?

This kind of stuff and a flame this high really burns my butt! >:(

I don’t have a filter on my e-mail service.  At the first on the month,  my provider is going to make it available as a standard feature. ???

You know; I get those bouncing betties too.  And emails; well that may be my fault.  I like playing free lottery on the web.  Some agreements make you agree to accept email advertisement and then some of those sell your email address.  Some web sites give you less then five seconds to respond by clicking a link before another web site apears.  I have had as much as 15 web sites in my task bar in a minute to two minutes.  I found I had to Ctrl and delete and clicking on one web in the taxk bar stablized the web site bouncing.

Im with you, I wish there was away to hide from advertisers while playing on the web.

Now the government can do the samething advertisers can but they won't be emailing.

Pop up ada are spawned by that web page above thats for sure. But there is no way you are getting junk email because you visited a site unless you gave them your email address.

Be careful what you sign up for.  Tammy signed up to receive a free dogtag through the regular mail that had the name of a lost person from nov.11 to wear in memorial.  She got the tag allright, and weather its related or not, and I say the scum suckers are, we also got a mail box full of porn ads.

Question: why would someone simply send these out free of charge?  Tammy says this is the only thing she has ever give our address for lately. And the porn stuff comes the same day. Fishy and sick if true

I TOTALLY know what you mean, but it hits me on the way OUT of work. Other times, I want to break into a rousing chorus of 'Bottle of wine, fruit of the vine...'- just because of the line 'leave me alone, let me go home'...Now, you can just picture the nurse walking out past  psych and other patients waiting 'patiently' (and not so patiently) for dispo, as she breaks into song... I figure I'd get cheers, boos, MANY complaints from the uptight- probably a group of the politically incorrect- maybe half the staff- accompanying me in a rousing chorus- especially those who came IN with an alcohol of .300 or so (that's patients, not staff, on that last thing)- and I'd get canned for sure. I'll get back with you if I ever try it. I have mentioned to the head nurse that I have the IMPULSE- but i think I'll stick with 'daylight come'..more politically correct.

  Happy All Hallow's Eve. :) :) :)       lw
