Thanks for letting us know about this Adam.  I'll surely put Tom_in_Mo on my prayer list.  It is strange how one's thoughts seem to gravitate to someone who suddenly pops up somewhere else for a totally unrelated reason.  Just a couple of hours ago, that other Tom(the one with the red shirt) made mention of him on the phone.  Both of us were wishing that he would visit with us more often, as well as how much we think of him.  Neither of us had any idea that our old friend was in any sort of difficulty.

While you have him cornered on that hospital bed, how about slapping him around a little bit and make him get on here and stay in touch, eh?

Seriously, I miss ol' Tom around here, and I'm anxious to hear that he's ok.  How about an update, Adam?

Ok guys ..... update.  I gave Tom a call this morn and talked to him directly.Said he is doing well and can now set up in the bed without feeling like he is gonna fall out in the floor  8) . Ate some green beans at the hospital and said they were pretty much nasty  steve_smiley . I told him he wasnt in the holiday inn so get used to that food. :D
His hospital stay is not due to a work related injury (DanG , no shot to the foot cause he still has one bullet in his pocket. LOL  :D ) Dont know if he has access to the internet at hospital but I will talk to him in the next few days I am sure and tell him to hop on the good ole FF and get back in touch with yall.
Keep him in your prayers during his stay and for his family throughout the CHRISTmas Season!!!!!

Well, here is news from the horse's month. I was taken in the early hours Thurs. Nov. 9th to the hospital. The ambulance driver looked at me and said, Tom, this box that you are wired into has never lied to me yet.  You have had a massive heart attack. I arrived at the hospital in Poplar Bluff, MO, and had a team of nurses, lab tech, and such waiting for me. The lady at the ER room hollowed my name and said it was very important for me to pay attention to her at this point and only her, so I did. She said things and really going to get busy for me when a Cardiac team comes in, They did, kinda reminded me of Gov. Agents, grabbed me, unclothed me down to bare meat and away we went. I had 100% blockage at that point. I was told, I had 10 mins from the time I got to the hospital and to the time a stent was put up into my heart.

YOU KNOW WHAT? IT WASN'T MY TIME, BUT I GOT READY TO LEAVE THIS EARTH JUST THE SAME. My wife shook me and I had passed out during this time. I do.................. believe in miracles.

Thanks folks for your prayers, and have a Merry CHRISTmas..

A Friend for ever!!!

Sure glad you didn't give in. I'm not so sure I'm through liking you yet.

Gee Tom, I'm sure glad you ain't dead.  That would be the pits!  It sounds like you had a pretty close call there. :o

I feel like a piker now, 'cause I only had a 99% blockage.  :D  You're gonna feel pretty good for a while, but it will likely be obvious that you aren't in top form yet when you get back to work.  Give that ol' ticker a while to restore itself.  It has been a little over a year since mine, and I'm continuing to feel stronger.  I was pretty wimpy for a while there.  Do what the Docs say, and get plenty of rest.
