gas powered winch for pulling trees

I was looking at that Rule G1800E gas powered winch which has a single line rating of 1800lbs and 3500lbs double line pull.  Has anyone ever used this winch before and can you tell me anything you like or dislike about it. I would be using it along with another person to pull a tree to fall in a certain direction while cutting. I've also seen the Lewis winch model #400 which is similar. Just happened to be looking at the Baileys catalog and wondered what others thought about it. Thanks in advance.  Dave

Dave;
A capstan rope winch might be something else to consider.
