$350 for a 460 ?
« on: October 28, 2010, 10:39:57 pm »
I just picked up a MS460 with a new 32” bar and good chain for $350. The saw runs good and shows no real singes of ware. Dose that seem like a good price? That makes 4 saws a 056AV, 038MAG, 029 and now 460. Not sure wie I need that many bigger saws. The 056 has a 32” bar the 038 has a 28” and the 029 has a 20”. Guess I got it Farley well covered.

Oh ya, the 038 has a ripping chain on it for now. Had to rip a big maple down so it wood fit on my mill it was about 42” on the big end. The big log is next at about 50”.

Oh, and I don't know much about that saw, but it sounds like a good price!

IMO, that was a pretty good deal if the saw is in good shape.

To me, if I was looking for one, that would be an outstanding price. Even if it needed some minor work at the local repair shop. If it's already running well, even better. ;D

Good I thought that it seemed to be a good deal but you never know. So fare I ran it for a
little wile and it runs grate. The chain is dull or the oak was hard could be both. Well thanks to all of you.

Sounds like you got a really good deal on that saw.  Can't go wrong with a good running 460 at that price. 8)

For $350.00 I want one, unless it's junked out.
That's a good price.
