You got good advice from Sparks and Phoenix on sizing the phase converter.  Ratings are always a bit ambiguous when it comes to motors and roto phase converters.

I said if I were to do it over again, I’d gone bigger for expansion purposes.   We went with a 50hp Ronk and now have more machines adding up to more horse power than the phase converter is rated at - thus we can’t run everything at one time and there is no more reasonable way to add more machines without upgrading the phase converter or putting in another.

Hey Bib, just how many of you are there? Did you put those grand kids to work?

On a more serious note, how many amps do you feed that Ronk?

I have no way of knowing.  The electrician that installed it did some testing to see if the "legs" were balanced.  I think it (that would be the 25hp WM mill motor) was pulling something in the area of low 80's.  I think it's fused to 115 amps.

Then again, I could be all wrong.  I’m relying on old memory.    :'(

Just look at the breaker feeding it. I am feeding my 20 hp with a 100 amp breaker. Those big breakers start getting expensive. I found a used 3 phase breaker panel on ebay and the same with the breakers. Saves me a ton of clams.
