On april 28th i weighed 370 pounds on the doctors scale! To many years driving truck and to many budweisers! I made my mind up i was going to shed a few pounds, so i gave up beer during the week, stopped eating breakfast sandwiches, gave up my cheese habit that went along with my5 or 6 beers each nite, went from 2 sandwiches  a day to one, Half at 9:00am rest at noon, only snack on fresh veggies durning the day{ 2 small cukes}And drink plenty of water! Supper is a small sensible meal and as of tonite i weighed 313.8 pounds!

Impressive!  Keep it up.  Are you doing any exercise?  If not, you might consider doing some cardio, as well.  You get other great health benefits, in addition to added weight loss.

Been hitting the treamill for 30 minutes a night , started this week 8)

I put a TV in front of my elliptical and turn on music videos.  An hour passes by quickly.  I try to put in an hour every day except Sunday and when I'm sawing.

Good for you!  Push through any pain for a week or two, then you will start to feel amazing.  In fact, you might even get addicted to how good you feel.  That's how I keep working out....  just remember how good it feels afterward.

Yeah, what I didn't realize is that soreness from working out goes away after about 2-3 weeks.  So you don't get sore anymore so long as you keep up a routine of working out.  It's really nice being able to work outside for hours and not get sore after.  And you can last much longer without getting tired too.  Keep it up!

Congradulations on your wirght loss. I really believe it is the best method for getting it off and keeping it off. I have seen it many times.

I have started exercising. I feel alot better and have more energy and need less sleep.

Good job.  I've lost 20 lbs in the last couple of month by paying attention to what I put in my mouth.  Wife had Type II diabetes and I try to cook meeting her needs also.  If you like sweets check out the low sugar Key Lime pie I created yesterday in the Food section.

The more you lose the slower it will be, but every little pound will be worth the effort.  Congratulations !!!
