Winch for sale

I have a winch off of a 2.5 ton military truck for sale. Paid $700 at an auction a few years ago and was going to mount it on my log truck. Well thats just not going to happen now so I want to get rid of it. The cable has never been unspooled and is still covered in cosmoline. I did connect it to a hydraulic motor and everything works good. 




Would like to get $500 for it.

I thought i would let you know, that winch is off a m35 series 2.5 ton that way you might be able to give a little more information to buyers when you are trying to sell it. I deal in these type of trucks. the Winch is made by garwood and is rated at 10,000lbs. The trucks were built from 1955-1987

When you said you hooked it up to a hydraulic motor did you mean pump or did you have to bolt a motor on it?  If you meant pump do you think the motor on it could handle 3700 PSI?

I bolted a hydraulic motor to it and ran it off of the remotes on the back of my tractor.

If it had a motor I would be interested, but I have to figure out how to buy things and not let my wife find out.  She does the books.
