More White Pine salvage

 8) Bro and I took down a nice Pine today. Prolly about 16-18 inches at the butt, and about 50-60 feet of logs. We went very cautiously, thinking about the 2 tractor logging deaths posted below! This tree blew over in Feb, but hung up in a few smaller trees. It was at about 45* when we started! The Ford 5000 and Norse 3081 winch earned their keep, and we got it harvested without mishap, PTL!

I think I'm going to be pulling of blow-down / busted top pines for a while thanks to our little feb. wind storm!  Already got a pile of 4ft. OWB small pine worked up, lots more to do
