I agree Kevin.  It was mid 70's here.
Darn heat brings the japanese beetles back out.
You can't hardly go outside cause they're so thick....
I'm ready for some cooler air.

This is what it looks like out the back door this morning, weather report is for 2 to 4 inches today. :(

Yup those are snow flakes you see in the pic.  A good day to work in the shop today. ???

don't think I would want 85 degrees but this 25 degree stuff is about two weeks to early. ::) ::)

I'll try to post some pics of the snow later today.

Tom,
that rocket they sent up must have gone up over us and made a hole into space and let all that cold air drop down on northern Maine. :-/ :-/

Kevin_

We've had the wood stove goin' pretty good now for about 2 weeks. Sorry about the rant, must be the cold  ;D ;D

Well It's still snowing, we got about 4" so far this was taken around 4:00 pm today, we're supposed to get another 2-3" through tonight.

Well at least the kids across the street enjoyed it  ;D ;D

Started out with a jacket but by 10:00 it was to hot for that lost the flannel shirt after lunch and then got attacked by fifty billion ladybugs. Came home tonight only to have the wife complainning about the ladybugs flying in the dinning room. I'll be glad when it cools off again

Ya just know when this melts in the next day or two it will be nuttin but YUCK

And deer huntin is still two weeks away :( this would have been great trackin snow, oh well maybe it'll happen then as this weather is kinda weird this year.

The weather guy said the other day we's supposed ta have a normal winter seein there won't be any ninos (sp) or ninas (sp) this winter. I wonder what that means  ::) ::) ::)

It means the Pacific water temps should be about normal.  When they get a little too warm or too cool, that changes the way weather moves in the US and even in Europe.

Today, they got 5" of rain in Seattle.  A record for a rainy city.

It is interesting to note that normal means the average temperature for the past 30 years.  So, what's normal now may not have been normal 30 years ago.

Near normal here today, although it was warm, 75, yesterday. Having a day like that this time of year is normal. Today it was 50, drizzle nd cloudy. Thats Normal too. If we get a foot of snow tomorrow, for Michigan, Normal.

ok, ok, I have to ask. Is there a town in any state called 'normal'. I've already heard of 'boring (isn't that in Oregon?  lw

LW, you are correct for the location of Boring.  I use to spend a great deal of my youth years in the community picking berries and such.  Had a uncle that rain a small dairy them bought out a garbage business and that was not Boring, for sure.

As to the weather here; on Monday had a record of 80 plus in the mid Willamette Valley.  Set a record as old as 1901. ;D

I put a load in the kiln this afternoon adn did not even fire up the Taylor for heat as it was still 80 plus when I shut the doors. 8)  I will run it like that for a few days and then fire up the stove.

Boring Oregon - not all that boring, 8)

Unlike Brothers Oregon (depending upon your gender) - however we have Sisters Oregon which is a hit with my wife and many others of the female persuasion.

Nice photo's Termite.  It seems lately in lower Michigan during winter we get snow, melt, mud, and then the cycle starts all over.

Talk about funny names for towns......Jeff lives closer to Paradise, MI than I do.......

I live closer to Hell, MI....... ::)

Just don't seem right!!  I'm thinkin' it should be the other way around ??? ???
