If you already have the J-red 2171 then get another 2171 for a backup saw, then you can stock common spare parts. And it is the same saw as the 372.

Which Husky is the twin of the JRed 2188? Would it be the Husky 390?

It's been said before but I don't think you're getting it. There aren't any original JRed saws, they are just red Huskys. You already own a Husky 372 but it's red.
