2002 Woodmizer LT15 (SOLD)
« on: March 05, 2010, 09:18:18 am »
I'm getting a LT28 so the LT15 needs to go.  It's a 2002 with 23'6" of deck (saws 21') metal stands (see pictures), 3 types of dogs, and 2 sets of resaw brackets (1 set allows sawing down to 5" and 1 set to 3")
The hour meter shows 1736.  The engine starts and runs perfect and needs no oil added between changes.  It does need a new muffler which I will try to order today
$4750
I also have the saw listed on ebay but I'd rather sell it here and let the Forum have the commission.
For questions call me at 304-269-6595

Actually, The saw is in Weston, W.Va.  where we have been building a cabin.  Note the snow on the ground...not much of that in Texas City.  :D

Quinton, now you have gone and done it.  At first you were just suggestive, which got me all in a bind looking at the great deal on the LT28.  Then, you went and put your LT15 up for sale, showing final resolve.

What is a feller to do?

Yes, I wish I had made two but I only had one bolt & nut.  It works great and we use it 90% of the time.  I put a 2" block of wood under it and use it as a stop as we load logs.  I still use the overcenter WM clamps when resawing and clamping in single boards.  I just guessed at the angle I needed so that it would jam on the cross piece and it works fine.
I do take care to pull it out after the 2nd cut on the log as the blade will get it at about 2".

I sold the LT15 this morning to a young man from Pa.  He is not a member of the forum yet but I told him about it and suggested that he join.
