who needs electric motors(large)
« on: April 01, 2010, 09:03:29 am »
i'm working in a building that has 3  40hp 3 phase motors, and (2) 511hp 3 phase motors.  they operated 2 large chillers.  if you have 3 phase power, and have use for these. the building just wants them gone! they are in pristine condition!

Heck yeah!  I've been looking for a large hp electric motor to use on a dedicated slabber (something between 30 - 40 hp).  How can I get one?

I would like one to make a phase converter out of. Is their equipment on site to load one?   40 hp

John, I just got off of the phone with Patrick.  The motor's are still in place; they will need to be unbolted.  It sounds as if they can be removed and loaded with an engine hoist and a pallet jack (I have both), and there is a loading dock available at the facility.

It would be great if we could coordinate schedules and help one another with the removals.  Patrick indicated that they will need to be picked up in the next week or two, and that weekends may be preferred over week days.

I'll send you a PM.
