More Garage Cleaning - Wood Mizer Automatic Blade Sharpener and Manual Setter.  4 years old, less than 200 blades sharpened on it.  Easier for me to send the blades out to have them sharpened.  This is the old style sharpener with the ceramic sharpening stone.  Not the CBN wheel.  Includes 9 degree and 10 degree cams, plus manuals, plus odds and ends.  Will try to post pictures of the actual unit  in the the next day or so.  But, looks just like the one on the Wood Mizer website:

Again,  this sharpener uses a ceramic blade, not the CBN wheel.  Cost $1995 new 4 years ago.  Out the door for $995 with 10% to Forum....

That would be the same machine I have. I know that Timberwolf makes a cam for their blades to fit the WM sharpener, and I believe Cook's does to.

Gee Warren, why didn't you have a garage sale before I bought mine?

Stumpy,

This is a stock Wood Mizer Sharpener set up for the stock Wood Mizer blade tooth profile.  If you are using  Wood Mizer blades, or blades that have the same blade tooth profile as Wood Mizer, you should be O.K. 

As WH points out, with the proper cams, the sharpener could also be used to sharpen other manufacturers blades,  But, it would be up to you to sort out the details if you wanted to go that route.

If you are seriously interested, you could send me a blade.  I'll send it around the sharpener a couple times, and send it back to you.  You can run it on your saw to see if it cuts satisfactorily for you...

There are a couple of places you can get cams from for other brand blades. Both of them are sponsers. Cooks and Menominee. They both have a link on the left side of the screen.

Basic mechanical knowledge is all that's required to maintain the Wood-Mizer.
4 ft Logrite cant hook and a few unknown brands.
