Frick Mill and 2 pallets of parts for sale!
« on: June 30, 2011, 07:54:27 pm »
I have what I believe is a mostly complete Frick sawmill for sale.  I bought it a couple of years ago with the intention of setting it up and running as a hobby mill, but due to more projects than I can complete in a lifetime PLUS the recent addition of a LOT of medical expenses, I'm going to let it go.  The husk will need rebuilt, but the carriage seems to be in OK shape.  There is one blade that will go with it, I have 2, but I'm keeping one.  I don't think I care which one, so the choice can be yours.  Also with this is enough parts to probably put a second mill together.  It is/was a Gainseville Iron Works mill, made in Gainseville, Georgia.  It is literally in parts and pieces, but it looks like most of the metal parts are there if you really feel ambitious.  I can email pics if you are interested.  It is located in upstate South Carolina, just about 10 miles off of I-85 exit 1(Seneca, SC).
I think it ought to be worth $1050.00, but am open to offers, as I need to get it moving.
Thanks for your interest,
Kevin Harbin
