Kiln chamber?
« on: October 06, 2003, 05:39:39 pm »
One of my regular customers just stopped by. he told me he has access to insulated panels, they are 4' x 8' with 6" of insulation sandwiched between flat sheet metal.

He's thinking we could use these to build a chamber. the panels are rated to 1800 deg. we would weld the panels together and then seal the seams

This is still in the infant stage, he has the knowage to wire up blowers and boiler, but I kinda thought we would go with a DH unit inside the chamber...

Anyone used panels like this before?

Any questions or comments would be appreciated
Got my WM lt40g24, Setworks and debarker in oct. '97, been sawing part time ever since, Moving logs with a bobcat.
