Hey guys,

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have to get rid of my sawmill.  It's about the only way I'm going to be able to pay my bills for the foreseeable future, and hopefully in a year or two I can think about sawing again.

Anyway - it's a 1985 WM LT-30, manual mill, trailer package, has original Kohler K321 14-hp engine, still runs, unknown hours due to busted hour meter.  All the parts are there, Woodmizer NY went through the mill about five years ago and did a complete service.  I sawed a bit with it in November but it has not been run since.  Has 12v electric feed and electric up-down.  I really don't want to sell it but it needs a new home, I need the money and I don't really have time to use it much anymore.

I would like to get $5200 but would entertain a reasonable offer, especially if you come get it.  I will donate to the FF whether I sell it through here or not (also posting on craigslist).  Anybody seriously interested, I will send you pictures.  I can also demonstrate it for a serious buyer.  This is pretty much the equivalent in power of a new LT-15, but with the trailer and power feed as a bonus, I guess.  It sawed 20" wide sugar maple most recently, no problem.

Sorry to hear you need to sell the mill, Engineer!

Hope you'll stay with Forestry Forum though!
Who knows, in a few short years you'll be in the market for a new one!

edit:  And, you already have sawdust in your blood!

You shouldn't have much trouble selling it, other than "letting go".
