They are currently unavailable. I use to provide them after a member reached a pretty high post count which I will not devulge. ;D  But because of the costs I had to stop. I hope to start again at some point but I cant say when. The hats I used to get are no longer available in the style we had. When we get new ones they will have the new forum logo like I have on the truck, with the sun behind the tree.

Because of the addition of the new sponsors there is a good chance the hats will show up again in the not to distant future. :)

Why just you, Jeff.  You could start a fund for new hats.  I'd be quite willing to donate to that kind of fund.

I ordered hats today. They will send me one first of next week and if I O.K. it then they will run some off.  The cheapest yet best Hat I could find that is still up to my minimum standard is still quite pricey. $9.00, and thats without mailing costs.

Mean while, I have a brilliant idea.  I got me a Formum Cap, it has a little milage on it, a little grease stain here and there, and maybe a bent bill.  But, I think I can auction it off.  Yeah, that's the ticket.  Sell to the highest bidder.

As my bid letters say on a timber sale.  Any and all offers can be accepted or rejected.

Jeff, I got a bunch of Staples Forestry hats that are cheaper than $9,00, buy them and change the logo. 8)

I got the prototype today and I like it. If'n I dont get to much negative feedback tonight on the looks I will order them tomorrow.

I will create some sort of shopping cart or something so you guys can order them so Tammy can keep track who wants what. I'll let ya know when that is ready.

Look O.K.?  They are a good material with a strap and brass snap buckle fastener.

There will be no credit card.  You will just order the hat, it will send me your address so I can ship it and it will send you an address so you can send a check or sumthin.

If I try to just keep track of the "I'll take two's" I'll get mixed up. Tammy ordered boxes from somewhere so we will be getting shipping containers.

Since I know you don't have anything better to do in your spare time and cold weathers coming on what do you think about FF sweatshirts? Oh yeah and I second the tee shirts idea, from now until spring thaw I wear nothing else.....above the waist that is. :P

The hats will be in Monday or Tuesday. I'll try to come up with an ordering system by then.

I priced T-shirts and if I want the logo colored its pricey and ya gotta do a big run. Problem is I dont have 6 or 7 hundred dollars at any one time to get them. At least not right now I don't. The hats were a stretch.

Jeff,
I would like a couple them hats too.  Keep me in mind.  That way I'll look like I know what I'm doin' when I'm planting trees.  What with this rain and all I can hear them trees growing!!  (I think they grew at least two inches today)  Of course I don't have a FF tape measure so I can't be sure.... :'(

Only 45 minutes or so to the casino, (cross country).  It depends on how fast we drive.  We usually just poke along and look at the country side.......

McGruff,

Does your username give a clue to what you did in a former life?  You have heard about the tragedy in our community this past week. (Harrison)

I'm trying to make this thread longer for Fabiola to read...

Actually, it is my current life, (for 7 years13 days) until retirement.  Then the tree farm kicks in  ;DI'm just a normal guy trying to make a living.

That truely was a tragedy.  I feel for his family and his fellow officers and co-workers.  You certainly have to enjoy life and enjoy what you have, because you never know when the good lord will be calling your name.

I do enjoy what I do, though.  That's why my wife and I spend lots of time outside planting, gardening, and being foolish.....like starting a tree farm.  Hey, somebody's grand child is going to need some lumber!! :o

This is too funny!!

I know a guy that knows THE guy that invented Pete's Original Antler Grow.  In fact I bought 5 bags.  Does that entitle me to a free hat??

I bought them from a guy that is from St. Ignace or Detour but works at one of the prisons.  Are you from da U.P.?

Nope, but I wish I was. Chester (Chet) says that I can stay up der if I want. Hes a yooper ya know. The Family has a cabin at Detour, owned by my Sister and The grower guy. I sawed most all the lumber up for it, helped build it, and got squaters rights.  We know lots of folks up derand a lotts friends and a couple that work at da prison. The Big guy from antler grower is married to my Older sister. I built the website. They live in Wiedman

Okay.

I may have misunderstood.  When I bought Antler Grow I thought the person that made it was from the UP.

Weidman's not far away either.

See I could make a round trip, get a hat, and some Antler Grow, when I run out!!

I'm definately taking one hat. I may order two more, one for my dad and one for my brother.  Should we send the money first?

Fabiola,

I will post a new thread when I have the program ready to take orders on hats. I got some early. I have some right now. We may run out so it'll be first come first serve on the ordering. Once I get reimbursed for enough of them I will turn around and reorder. The hats came to almost 10 bucks a piece. There quote was off and I forgot about Tax at 6%.

I gotta work the shipping out yet. I may just set a price to cover high and low.

I just want to say, I am NOT selling hats. You will be reimbursing me for purchasing your hats for you. ;D

Look for a link yet tonight. Maybe.
