hi guys i was just curiouse how you get the forestry forum hats and how much do they cost becuase i'd like to get one.

They are currently unavailable. I use to provide them after a member reached a pretty high post count which I will not devulge.

But because of the costs I had to stop. I hope to start again at some point but I cant say when. The hats I used to get are no longer available in the style we had. When we get new ones they will have the new forum logo like I have on the truck, with the sun behind the tree.

Because of the addition of the new sponsors there is a good chance the hats will show up again in the not to distant future.

looking forword to that day and i have no problem paying for it becuase this forum has become my second home since i found it you have done a great job with it Jeff B my hats off to you so to speak.

Hey Jeff if the sponsors don't cough up for hats I say we establish a hat fund. They are just too good to go by the board (so to speak..) I would kick in fo sho. I love my hat. lw

Why just you, Jeff. You could start a fund for new hats. I'd be quite willing to donate to that kind of fund.

What I can do it just order them and if someone wants one they can buy one? I actually called the hat place today and set up an appointment to go look at thier stuff one evening this week.

I ordered hats today. They will send me one first of next week and if I O.K. it then they will run some off. The cheapest yet best Hat I could find that is still up to my minimum standard is still quite pricey. $9.00, and thats without mailing costs.

Mean while, I have a brilliant idea. I got me a Formum Cap, it has a little milage on it, a little grease stain here and there, and maybe a bent bill. But, I think I can auction it off. Yeah, that's the ticket. Sell to the highest bidder.

As my bid letters say on a timber sale. Any and all offers can be accepted or rejected.

Jeff, I got a bunch of Staples Forestry hats that are cheaper than $9,00, buy them and change the logo.

Nine bucks plus shipping....that's not bad. I bet you sell a bunch of them. I hope they are available by Christmas time, I think I know a guy who'd really like one.
