Red heart or white heart sycamore?

Can anyone tell me the difference in a standing sycamore ...so as to tell if it is red or white heart?

Buzz,
I can only speak for my area and personal opinion so take it with a grain of salt.  Sycamore grows so fast that it doesn't develop much heartwood.  When the tree is opened up, it is all creamy white.   If it lives long enough to develop heartwood, then the color is dark.

The question one should ask is "Does this tree have heartwood"?
