A friend of mine has a metavic trailer for sale, it is like mine, has the same loader but is 12 foot long while mine is 10 ft. He has towed it behind his pickup for small tree jobs, so he also has a 13 HP honda hydraulic power pack to power the loader.

He is asking $11,000 for the trailer and the power pack together.

he is quitting the tree business and liquidating his machinery, including: log truck, bucket truck, grinder etc. If there is interest I will get a complete list

As always, wrong side of the several states... by the time i could get it hauled out here to the left coast it would nearly be cheaper to get a new one!..... nearly.

multitek charged me $500 to deliver the firewood processor and when the truck left it went to the next town to pickup a load of concrete shelters to back haul. maybe you could find a deal like that.

It should also be understood, as that last post was almost inferring that the buyer was responsible, That it is the seller that is responsible for the 5% commision not the buyer.

Does the power pac attach to the trailer or is it a separate unit? Tonto.

It is a stand alone unit, that scott used to put in the back of his pickup to go over the road. His trailer, like mine, can also plug into the power beyond on a tractor.

Is this trailer made for road use or are they made for forest use and the taillights added later to make it road legal ?Are they road legal trailer if so how do they pull loaded at higher speeds on the highway?
What year is this trailer ?
About how many hrs of use on loader and trailer & power pack ?
Did Scott buy it new ?

It is to meant to be an on road trailer. The lights were added after. I do not know if the hubs are rated for highway speeds. On my trailer it is max. 20mph.

he bought it new, I think 5 or 6 years ago. I have seen him pulling it past my house at around 35 MPH, thats about as fast as you can go here due to the curves and hills. I don't know the hours but can try to find out

What is the model number of the loader and trailer?
Are the hubs rated for a certain speed ?
