Lake States Logging Congress
« on: September 08, 2001, 06:59:04 pm »
Dad, Mom and I spent the morning and early afternoon there today.  WOW!  There was a lot to see.  Talk about some big, really neat toys.  Forestry equipment sure has come a long way in recent times.  Dad was especially impressed with the firewood processors.  They take the work right out of cutting wood.  I liked all of it and even Mom was impressed. :)  We didn't realize it was such a large event.  A good way to spend a Saturday.

I was impressed too, the schedule I copied from the internet site was screwed up and we missed all the chainsaw competition stuff but I enjoyed seeing all the equipment.
That firewood processer was something else to see!

Yes, a great event and a lot to observe and study. Next year it goes to Madison, Wisconsin.

Here's an example of what we got to see at Logging Congress.
