262xp project saw

i am looking for a 262xp to make a project saw . for cutting fire wood i was wondering if anybody has one for sale something that i can rebuild and make a running saw again . i have checked out ebay . but iam afraid of getting burned again .

That is a very popular saw on the used saw market (for very good reasons) - don't expect to get a bargain on one on the open market!

thanks for the info . i just thought somebody might have one laying around that is not running that i could fix up . iam not trying to make money or anything . just looking at the power to weight ratio and i think it is a saw that i would like . i have a problems with my hands running bigger saws maybe from running mac 10-10 and the old homelites when i was younger . thanks for all the help and info steve
