Digital says 185, Guage says 140!!
« on: December 19, 2009, 11:47:28 am »
Folks, I've got two readings going on on my e2300.  The digital reading is 185, and, I think, accurate.  The guage on the back says 140.  What could that possibly be indicating??

Thanks for your thoughts.

Return flow temperature.

This seems normal to me. It may take some time for the 140 degree return to cool down the 450 gallons of 185 degree water in the boiler to the point when it re-starts the boiler.

Are you having some problem or concern that we may help you with?
