well if it where my mill i would try high test gas first and a can of fuel system cleaner before going into anything else then if that dont work move on there has been several post this year about bad quality of gas ... this year

dad  rebuilt the carb and says it is running like it should now

I have been having similar problems with my mill and found Marty’s instructions to be very helpful. I found the lower jet to be plugged just as described.

Thanks for the help that you give us.
He is also a pretty good mechanic. After the curb work, the mill still didn’t run so I hulled the mill into his shop. He had the problem diagnosed and a coil from a similar mill installed and tested in 20 min. A new coil is on order and I will be back in business.
