Log arch Half goes to the forum
« on: April 17, 2009, 04:16:40 pm »
I had this arch built and have used it only a couple of times.  I just don't need it and thought I would try to sell it and help the forum.  I paid $400 to have it made by a certified welder, so it's well built.  I'll leave it here for 2 weeks and if it sells, I'll give half to the forum.  If not, I'll put it on Ebay and still give half to the forum after fees.  I know someone out there needs one of these and at the same time Help out the forum

Definately looks to be built heavy enough. Do you lift the log with a winch or what??

The hook you see at the top is on a roller.  It slides down to the bottom and hooks to the log.  As you pull away, the roller rides up the slant and lifts the front of the log.  Take a look at the arch that Norwood industries sells.  It's the same concept.  Ypu could also put a crank winch on the top and lift it that way.

Do you still have the log arch or has it gone to ebay yet?
