homelite super ez having trouble

i am having trouble with this saw it will start up and runs for a little bit, when you let off the throttle it will die. It will not start up again until it cools down. If you have any suggestions, please help. Thank you.

Pull the muffler and check the piston and cylinder for scoring. Light scratches on the piston are o.k, deep gouges or galling are bad medicine.

thank you very much could it also be the carb cloged cause when u let off the etriger it will die like it is not getting enough gas?
