I have been following the progress of the trailer kits.  I believe the cost is  between $800 to $900.  I am waiting for Marty to get one so I can make a trip out ot his place.

Still can not get much info on the trailer kit.  I guess most LT-15 owners leave them stationary, but I need to move mine.  I am trying to find out the size of the wheels, # of lugs and # of bed sections that it can handle (I have three).  Hopefully WM will get back to me soon.

John when at the Woodmizer open house they had the trailer kit on the lt15. There is
a plate that bolts to the mill rails. then the axel is square that mounts in that plate and
held in by 4 pins. There is a square pipe that goes in the trailer end of the mill woth a hand
crank to life the wheels off the ground. pull the 4 pins and roate the axel and wheels out.
It was a good looking set up and i think Will said it was $900.Will see if i have any photos
of it.

I thought that the big deal with the LT15 was that you could put it in the back of your pickup.  I saw it done at one of the shows and it didn't look difficult.

Sounds like a store bought or home made tilt trailer would be perfect.

Or a boat trailer??          Works for me and the LT-15 I bought recently off of Craigslist in Corydon Indiana.
Now I have two sawmills. A Norwood and a Woodmizer. I think I got a good buy and the mill cuts great.
Does that make me a 'Nor-mizer'?

Nice slingshot, should I  call you customsawyerJR. :D

You know you can only run one mill at a time :D ;)

Seriously, does anyone plan to saw while the LT15 is still on the trailer or must it be on the ground to cut?

I built my own band mill with the help of Forestry Forum.

I like that better than a Wood-Wood.  :D

Those little mills are really nice and convenient.  If I were still in the heavy cutting business, I would consider one of them to insure that I could cut long beams.

Sawood,
Thanks for the description.  I was talking with a welder today about fabricating something, any photos you have would be greatly appreciated.
