The end of an era
« on: March 17, 2011, 07:28:43 pm »
I am sure most f you know of my wifed accident and now the Cat scans are showing irreversibe  brain damage so off to a new driection  .  I cannot leave the house to work and must take care of things here at home.

Se refuses to go back to the States which means I need a full time keeper here.  I have decided to sell my 1941 Harley  which should pay for a house keeper for three years and with luck we wont need one after that.

There are three ways to pay, one is a bank letter of credit which is the worst. one is cash in advanve which is dangerous when you dont know the person.  The safest way is cach against docoments which means when the captaian of the ship says it is in the hold with all the requured documents then send money.

It did run a couple of years ago

and sems to be complete.  I cannot gaurantee more.  This was my next project but not any more.  I does need croming and paint.

I can send lots of photos if it would help.  Mae an offer , you may be surprised and then  I can get in my third bedroom also,

.

I'd love to have that bike and I am not even interested in Harleys in particular :D

I'd even more like to be able to help you in some way Jim , do you have any other alternatives?

All that high quality wood down there is a precious commodity...

If that bike was up here by me I would make you a top$$ offer and I do not even have a lot of expendable income at this time.

I don't even know how a person would go about shipping something like that how did you get it down there?

Your wife and taking care of her is the priority though I am wondering if you have had the kind of medical opinions and care you need to be making these decisions maybe there is a better way is what I am saying...
