This has been my "go to/ favorite machine" around the shop for 8-10 years. Former Army lift, I bought it w/ 2500 hours (military tag on it has a fresh engine rebuild at 1750 hours) I got it from indirectly from Uncle Sam, via a mass buy. This unit was still "dry" when I got it( Uncle drains all fluids prior to selling) It currently has 3400 hours. 12' lift , Pneumatic tired, Continental 4 cly., shuttle shift, just converted to propane. SUPER WIDE removeable front apron, so it is great for logs. Power steering/ power brakes, runs and starts in all weather and temps. one leak in the power steering underneath. I have all the manuals (parts and service). All parts are still available through your local Cat dealer (I ordered the manuals thru mine). Total unit weight w/ no on the fork load 7800 lbs. Tires are good, I frequently run it out across my fields w/ very little issue unless it is very wet, so wieght dispersion is good. This unit runs my "hills" pretty well also. It will get a new seat and perhaps a muffler before it sells. Only thing not functioning is the horn. Does NOT burn oil. I have maintained this unit VERY well. Like many older machines it will lift well more than the 4000lb rating. I have lifted a 5500 lb Beach sander w/ it. Reason for selling is that I bought a 6000#er w/ a 16' lift (my cantilevered racks are 20').

Pretty sure it would not do me much good. I get stuck pretty every day with a back hoe and a 4x4 tractor.

If you do buy a forklift in the future, the dual fronts make a HUGE difference dispersing the load on soil/ grass.
