Thanks Bigmillman I love to see old mills The first mill I worked in was built in1889 It was a steam driven mill all on a single lineshaft  I know we need progress but I miss some the old smells, smells and sounds of the steam mills esp with  a shotgun feed popping you could tell what the mill was doing all over a 5 blk area  Oh well I degress

Talking about old mills I ran across an ad for a Russell Sawmill for sale. That's gotta be a really old one.

 Ron R that's an old ad I think they quit making mills sometime around the start of the depression didn't they I seen quite a few of their steam engines  I think I may saw a carriage but don't relly remember  Bigmillman  Is that exibition down in Tifton open yr round or just special times
