6 way blade for skidders.

Years ago I was running a 740 John Deere with the 12' trail building blade which tilted side to side and was a real nine setup, was alwasy told of a outfit in Cannada that made a conversion to a 6 way blade for skidders, does anybody know anything about them and where they are at.

I just saw a NICE grader blade at the scrap yard, would work great for a skidder (about 12' wide) and low profile but heavy built. Anyone intersted I can give oyu the yards #, I buy stuff all the tiime there.

i had a 740 with the same blade. But it was extended out past the skidder.  Man i liked it. But the only problem i had was cutting plantation pine When i was backing down rows the blade would catch trees. With a skidder that size it would lay them down before you knew it.  I wish my 648 had a blade like that only not as wide. Made it nice building roads though

Wish i had the income to put that on my 648. Mine needs some welding done on the bottom of it. There was no cutting edge on it when we got it and never had time to put one on it.

Semologger I get the used grader blades from the county when they change then, mahes a fine cutting edge for the blade.

there is a trail blade for a 648 on ebay right now. or at least it was there the other day. looks like the blade itself can be configured for ditching.
