There are so many reasons to keep re-reading the old posts.

Today I discovered that there is a good reason to re-read old post over and over.   Just two days ago I was reading  :P  the "handy tricks.." thread again and happened to read this post .....

http://www.forestryforum.com/board/index.php/topic,16303.msg237760.html#msg237760

...... Good thing, because today I had to dig a nickle out of the catch-all bin between the truck seats.  Had I not read this posting again to refresh my brain, I might have had to call it a day and come home from my customer's site.      :)

I know what you mean!  I haven't been registered on FF all that long and I dig around looking for tricks of the trade all the time.
When I find a thread that has a lot of good info on it, I'll bookmark it to my favorites and even then, I'll go to it sometimes to double-check on something.

I love this site!
