It looks a bit like shagbark hickory to me. The cold weather might have made the other leaflets fall off.Nope, on second thought, the edges are smooth. Not a hickory.How 'bout giving Persimmon a try?
My initial thought is blackgum. The leaf tips are sure acuminate . It could also be one of DanG's weeping hackamatacks .
